When my wife had a ppc, she used the Handmark Pocket Express App alot.
She likes to keep up on current events. Shes a tabloid junkie, lol
But it also has games, weather, stocks. etc etc

Seriously though guys, not all girls are the same, but I like many of the same apps you do. Whether you are a chick or a dude you use a phone for the same things: talking, going on the web, playing videos and music, gps, calendar. We aren't THAT different lol. What this needs is an option to activate it remotely.
Tell my wife to put the phone in her pocket... send a text message that activates the app. Wheeeeee.

I limit my wife for just 30 minutes of playing with my gadget per day.
She's just so addicted to it! (Windows Mobile I mean...)

Anyways, she loves useless games such as the following:

Memory games (like this one)
Vexed (a-la-sokoban game),
Skinz Sudoku is also one of her favorites, but I hate sudoku...

We were both addicted for a while to Shiftand ZNAX- probably the best free games I've played.

As a guy I did find this thread to be funny but I am not a female so I didn't take anything personal.
Understand how girls might be offended.
Just read a few posts to my friend here and her face went diagonal. LOL
As I am still friends with just about every girl I have ever dated ( even my ex-wife that I have 2 beautiful daughters with ) shows I am not sexist. However I did get a laugh at these posts. :)
Finding humor in jokes like those doesn't make one sexist.
Like a comedian making fun of race or whatever.

Most girls I know like games like Chuzzle, Hexic and Bejeweled.
Pocket Express and many of the apps listed already.

Now I must say that some of these female avatars are beautiful. :)
