[Req] Music player that reads Meta fields
An easy way of making playlists is by adding "Rating=5" and whatnot to the id3/id3v2 meta tags of mp3 files.
I'm using Kinoma (free trial, because I mean really you'd expect windows mobile to have a decent free music player.. their biggest competition is the freaking iphone/ipod), but I can't seem to sort my music using genre, year, or id3. Anyone know of a decent alternative? |

However, they've been unable to solve some problem with random hickups on newer HTC devices, including Touch Pro. A free 1 month trial version is here: http://tinyurl.com/7tseh9 |

Hey Charles,
I was surprised to see such a fast response from you on my Kinoma thread. Glad you liked the feature suggestion. Would you also consider adding the sorting by metaname function as well? I love sorting music by the Rating, Mood, etc fields in foobar. |

A couple example scenarios would be useful as well, if we're talking about less-often-used metadata. -- Charles Wiltgen |
