Must have applications for power Exchange users?
 

I use the Exchange server functions of Windows Mobile devices every single day. I could not get by with out them. However, I find the built in tools for Mail, Calendar, Tasks, and Contacts to be quite lacking and I'm not the only one.

So I'm wondering what great applications and tweaks there are out there for power users. Some of the stuff I want to do shouldn't be that hard.

* Being able to view more than one calendar from an Exchange server, including another user's calendar.
* Being able to view how many unread messages are in my other synchronized folders. (I used to use SPB's Pocket Diary for that but that doesn't play well with Manilla or Titanium)
* Being able to open multiple contact lists from Exchange

And I'm open to other suggestions. PIM applications people find to be must haves like I found SPB Diary to be for all of those years.

Good suggestions. I have heard rumor that MS is working on more integration with upcoming releases of Exchange (random discussions with a MS rep at Dell, but nothing verifiable).
Have you seen this http://www.diditbetter.com/add2exchange.aspx. This allows you to sync with a public folder...not exactly what you were looking for but may offer some options.

Some of the talk for Exchange 12 has focused on mobility but the actual execution seems very poor. People have been begging for multiple calendars in Windows Mobile since it came out. Yet here we are on the verge of WM7 and we still don't have it.

Rosewood, what do you feel about push email and battery drain on Exchange's constant data connection?

I've never really noticed it but then again every WM phone I've had I have used exchange push with. So to me it just is what it is. Comparing the battery life without push enabled is kind of pointless to me.

Would have to agree with battery drain. When I started using mobile devices I just had to get myself and those that I support used to charge every day and if you use it much, charge during the day. I feel the payoff of push is still outweighs the battery issues.
