nue fonts questions
 

I unstalled nuefont hoping to increase the size of all the default fonts as my eyesight is not what it was in my younger days & I was attempting to make things easier to read in my TouchPro's..

I have played with the four settings in the program you can change, but I must be doing something worng. The only change I have seen in ANY of my fonts is that it made the font in the word selection of TouchPal so tiny I can hardly see it, & nothing I change seems to make it any bigger.

WTF am I doing worng?? Do I have to do a Sprite restore to fix this??? (I can do that with no problem)

WTF, am I the only one who's ever tried this program??

I gave up & restored the system, but I would still like to know how to get this working??

did you save the changes, and then soft reset?
if not, there's your problem.
the phone has to recache the font and what not,
so if you don't soft reset, it will still have the previous font cached.

forgot about nuefonts....ill give it a try as im configurating my rom...ill post the results in a lil bit

edit...it seemed to "break" my phone, as in i cant open text messaging or some other aps...bumped it from 900 to 1000, and it made some apps unusable...

what size jumps were you trying

When I first installed it, I didn't make any changes at all. I opened the program to check it out, saw the 4 drop down boxes to change the font style etc & the boxes to increase/decrease the font size but didn't have time to mess with it & thought I would get back to it later.

The problem was, as soon as I soft reset, it turned all the start menu text & the word selection text in TouchPal to a font that was so tiny I had to literally use a magnifying glass to read it (the exact opposite of what I wanted)

After that, I could find no way to undo the changes it had made (I must have made changes & soft reset 30 times) I finally gave up, hard reset & restored an SPB backup.

Anyone know how i change the (start) and (sprint) to say anything i chose ???
