Searchme visual search beta, for Windows Mobile now available
 

Greetings. Actually this app is available for wm in beta form. Ive been messing around with it for a few hours now, and its pretty cool. Here's more about it and a link to the download for anyone interested. (Have to install via active-sync, no cab yet.)


Searchme is a new search engine which speeds searching by showing previews of the relevant web pages related to your search query without having to click through to them. This makes searching the web considerably faster than in your web browser. Results are presented as a series of pages that you can quickly flip through. Once you find what you’re looking you can elect to expand the preview or directly open the site in your phone’s browser. Searchme’s patent pending “category suggest” technology understands your query and suggests appropriate categories as you type, allowing you to directly focus on only the results you want.

Yeah, that would be nice. I looked around for one, but with no luck. Lotta potential with this app.

ok hibby, i made up a cab and added it to the first post. i tried it on my mogul and it worked fine.

I've used the desktop version before and it worked pretty good. I just installed this ppc version and am liking it so far. It reneders results pretty quick but it doesn't seem to search that deep.

Good find and I'll keep for now.
