[APP] Jmz Lockscreen Changer v2.0 [2009.10.23] WVGA/VGA Only

It works for what it was designed to do. Change any image of yours to the background image of the 6.5 lockscreen. I have not been able to find any bugs in this but will promptly attempt to fix whatever the issue may be.

Known Issues:
Does not change the image on the taskbar. Currently looking into the solution for it.

To Do:
Add ability to change the lockscreen slider to wherever user wants on screen.

Yes, only the Lockscreen background. This was the reason I pm'ed you. I couldn't figure something out, but I ended up going a different route.

Can you give me your LS_Global_###x###.cpr fies. There should be 2, 1 for portrait and one for landscape.

Also, I need these QVGA files also

Hey Jmz, one bug I've noticed is that if the LS_Global in the Windows directory is the original, the program will error out but if I replace it with a modded one, it will work just fine. Great program BTW,

Ok, so i found that it is easier to fix that with a cab, rather than trying to code it up. This will just install the file to the windows directory to overwrite the existing one. Which will make it without the read-only flag. It works now with a default lockscreen background.

When I use it, the taskbar doesn't change, it maintains the background of the today screen. In moments of great boredom, I have used this to make some hilarious transitions (I get really bored at work), but its generally kind of awkward looking. Any thoughts on fixing this?

Also, if you want, I can get you the wqvga LS_Global files...don't know if you still need them. Or if they are different per device or all included...cpr files are still hurting my brain.

I haven't pulled the files yet, but I installed the lock changer on the WQVGA device, it works like a charm....but for the taskbar of course.

It isn't anymore. I am hoping to release this, this weekend if I can figure out a stupid *** out of memory exception with larger picture files.

No wonder I couldn't find anything on that site, I used FF... You try and see what the sites look like with Chrome and Opera too? I do some web design work myself and I know how much of a pain making your sites compatible with a bunch of different browsers is. MOST annoying thing about webdesign!

I can honestly say that no matter what browser I used, the site NEVER looks like that. Not even mobile. That is quite interesting though. I will post direct link here when I finish it.

Yeah man I don't wanna burst your bubble, but I tried it on a few different machines with FF freshly installed (no add-ons) and I get the same results. IE works though on all...

I loaded this on my htc diamond and no change at all. It does say it was successful when I hit apply but nothing changes. Will this work on any cpr file?

Done that loaded both to storage and device still nothing. I am running the Iphone today homescreen in full screen mode. And I've moved my slider from top to bottom. I'm sure its something on my end.
