[Update 6/8] {App Preview} hdwobble- with vid, I think you're gonna like this
 

Just saw this by way of this wmpoweruser article. It added a smile to my face and I thought I'd share. It's an app that allows parts of images to be selected to then be wobbled by shaking a g-sensor enabled device, similar to iPhone's iWobble. It has a very awesome application, but I don't think I described this very well. Luckily there's there's a youtube preview vid of it here. (nsfw) It's not out yet, but I'll update this post when it's released. Here's the xda thread about it.

Update: A prerelease version was posted today if you guys want to try it out.
Features:

• suports VGA, QVGA, WQVGA and WVGA displays
• custom image loading (tested so far: jpeg, png, bmp)
• adding any number of round wobbling objects
• deleteing wobbling objects
• resizing wobbling objects
• vibration feedback when wobbling objects are pressed or dragged
• start wobbling using g-sensor, stylus, fingers...

Short description of menu buttons from top downwards:
1. Exit App
2. Load image
3. Add wobblie
4. Remove Wobblie
5. Start/Stop wobbling
6. Favorites (TODO)
7. Settings (TODO)
8. Info
9. Show/Hide menu


Check out the xda thread for more. Also, .NET 3.5 is required.


It can be downloaded at the following link as the dev has asked for it not to be mirrored on any other site. However, all you have to do is click download cab, no signing up or signing in.

Who says windows mobile cant be fun, have you guys the seen the number of free fun apps on Windows Mobile and more are being developed every day. This one is an app with huge potential it was a huge success on the iPhone app store by the name of iWobble now elAlem from xda-developers has put together an app called hdWobble which brings the “bouncy-bouncy” fun on to Windows Mobile.

Features:

• suports VGA, QVGA, WQVGA and WVGA displays

Now remember folks this is only a pre release version (v0.5.3446.13816), for now this version does NOT support saving of the current sceene nor loading it. Also there is no way to configure application. Not all features are implemented and you might find some bugs in the app. If you do plz report the error to the developer @ the developers site ( xda-developers ) or here using the comments.

Currents To do List :

1. app configuration panel
2. load previous work and save current work
3. minor glitches and bugs

good program and all but does not work on the touch pro or at least i cannot find a fix. everytime i try tot start up the program it errors out

i loaded the cab both in device and storage and neither showed a shorcut to open the program so i cant use it, wonder why this happens

I think there is a fix for it on xda, but i keep getting a 505 internal sever error on their site.. I was able to get on for a second and read it was fixed and working...

VGA fix is now available , download the latest build : http://www.1800pocketpc.com/2009/06/...e-version.html

Tested on Touch Pro

There is no shortcut placed in programs folder, this will hopefully get fixed in future version. For now you have to manually launch it using a file explorer

Wow, this is really funny. And it doesn't look like it's really distorting the picture at all... the shadows move and everything with the boobs. They must've taken lots of time to get this right!

Re-upload worked. Program works great... To get a icon in start menu, just go into the directory and tap and hold hdwobble.exe and copy it into the start menu folder in /windows directory.

EDIT2: Nevermind, chalk this up to user error. It was dimming the backlight and the target blended in with the graphic so I didn't see it. Plus when I first installed I didn't realize you had to add the "bounce" target. WORKS GREAT ON MY OMNIA!!! +10000 internets to the authors!! Lots of fun!

Works perfectly on my 6.5 Vogue...Have to use the stylus with the Lack of G-Sensor but they still wobble! LMAO!! :D

Umm... I posted this app a couple days ago and have been updating my thread accordingly. You can find it here. I even posted the link to the preview vid here (nsfw), if you want to add that to the OP.

A heavy emphasis is placed on searching here and not posting the same app multiple times. However, I don't really care if my thread was hijacked if you plan to stay on top of this app, keeping this thread up to date PPCInformer. It seems like you do, and you made a very good post. Just search next time.


Edit: you may want to post the date of the newest version in the title, it helps others to stay on top of the app.

I was posting in the other thread before I realized this was the main thread for the app. Just wanted to say thanks to the authors and this is fun little app for our WinMo devices. Works great on my i910 Omnia w/HTC Emu.

One thing I wanted to report, for some reason it is dimming the backlight (like how the 6.5 lock screen does). When I tap the screen it lights up for a brief moment then dims again. It really doesn't distract from the purpose of the app too much, but does make it harder to see in brighter areas (especially outside).
