I guess I am just getting old. I never saw the excitement in watching TV on a LIL phone. I have a HD Projection TV Unit that projects on to an 8' Screen. I just wish I could find the TV Out cable for the phone so I could read my contacts on the big screen so I could see em LOL

I do use hulu and other sites to watch old stuff, i thanked you for the live tv link you gave us. The "crap" i was talkin about were those sites that say that have like 5000 channels but they are usually public access from other countrys, that stuff sux lol. why isnt there a website that offers all the live streaming cable channels for a monthly fee like cable? I think it would be cheaper cus you would just need an internet connection

yes, im double posting...

yea, but the cost of the net to make having the cable chanels on the cpu would outweigh the cost of the net.. I know here, for 10mbs cable net, its almost $50....yet dsl, at 1.5 is $15, but its slower and takes a lot longer to buffer....just my observations

edit: post took me to 500 :headbang:

just throwing this out here but have you tried ORB. Its free and all you have to have is a TV Tuner on your comp or buy one for 10 bucks. The great part about it is it uses YOUR cable so the shows are on time. I use it during the world series and NBA finals. If you haven't, you should....... orb.com

There are hosted Slingboxes, but from what I've seen the prices aren't all that different vs getting cable/dish. Having all the channels available for streaming for a low fee would most likely be illegal. Sure there are a few sites out there that do this but don't expect the best. TVU is also pretty good for tv, a lot of "premium" or US channels but it's p2p--you give some you get some.

ORB is a pretty good option, I used that before I got my Slingbox.

Not all TV tuners are compatible with ORB & some work a heck of a lot better than others, but if you get the right one it does work fairly well.
