Request(ed): Video Trimmer On Device
 

I have an HTC Touch Pro that can take videos in the camcorder mode, sometimes these files exceed 500kb, I can send videos via MMS if it's 500kb or smaller, anyone know how I can trim this down on the phone? Just like the MP3 Trimmer that I have on my phone.

take shorter videos, change the video settings such as quality, specified legnth of time, etc...i know there is a hack somewhere where you can bump up the amount of space you have to send a mms video, but the other person cant receive it usually

Upload to videosharing site that sends you a confirmation link: like photobucket (yes,it does video too).
Copy/paste link to text message.

-I've been hoping for something like this too. I mean my old Nokia6682 does this (with *.3gp's AND *.mp4's) for free. But HTC and Qualcomm have just never teamed up to create proper video drivers. htcclassaction.org is one example of how frustrating this one aspect of their devices can be.
I mean, all they would have to do is start giving out extended batteries standard and fix the drivers and we'd be all set.

Sorry for the mini-rant but I guess it's been on my mind too, lol.

I was taking video of my daughter playing softball while she was batting, kind of hard to video exact moments when you don't know when she's going to hit the ball... this is why I asked for editing software...
I know the shorter the video, the smaller the size... just hard to do that when you don't know what's going to happen when. If I could read into the future, I would win they lottery :)

I see what your saying, ESP would be great. But would you use your powers for good or for awesome? heheh

In short: there is currently nothing to do that on device.
