Hope this Helps Thanks T M Z
http://www.1800pocketpc.com/blog/wp-...isetracker.png Noise Tracker is a windows mobile freeware to measure the loudness by taking an audio sample and calculating its mean average. The black bars are the mean values and the current wave is drawn in blue. Don’t know yet what a real use case for this app could be. Anyway, hope someone will find it useful. Tested on a wm6 prof. device. With ‘Scale’ the bars drawing height of the bars can be changed. With ‘Rate (ms)’ the length (in milliseconds) of the audio sample can be changed. http://www.1800pocketpc.com/2008/12/...pocket-pc.html |

Re: App Idea
Unless you're a noise inspector, I don't see how I'd use this on a day to day basis.

Re: App Idea
I would think the cells mic is the weak chain in this link. To properly measure sound you need good equipment that can record/play back the full sprecturm of sound.
I don't believe the mic in my HTC diamond has a level frequency response curve, thus, distorting the output |
