Restoring file association icons?

Long story short: i installed Kinoma Play on my Tilt; it wasnt working properly, kept closing itself, i uninstalled it with SK Tools. i reset all my file associations, but still now in my file explorers (Resco and default) the icons are all the same as an unknown file, instead of icons for pictures and mp3s. How can i fix this?

I have found success (though not easily) making file associations and assigning icons to file types on my Sprint Touch by using GSFinder+. It's a bit finnicky, unclear, and slow, but very powerful once you figure out how to make your wishes stick. Do you remember WinFile from back in the Windows98 days? GSF+ does file associations and icons much like a pocket version of old winfile. GSF+ is freeware, needs very little memory, and is highly configureable. More info here:
