receive fax w/ PPC ???
 

I want to get a call on my PPC, detect it is a fax (or push a button when you hear the eeeeeeeeeeeeaaaaaachhhh), and receive the faxes into my storage card.

I have searched the forum here and on xda. So far this is what I have found ...

efax.com gives you a unique fax number and emails your PPC for $10/month

scanr.com lets you send faxes

Am I dreaming here ???? I want to receive a fax with my existing number.

Please help!


I use a HTC Mogul PPC-6800 with unlimited data.

It is perfect but does NOT work with PPC -6800. Reviews online says it does not work with WM5 / WM6.

Pocket phonetools is supposed send and receive faxes...

No dice. Downloaded and installed.

Does not work with WM5 or WM6. Tried it on my 6800 and friends 6700.


Anything else out there? Anyone?

Kinda old post, but i am using myfax. It al goes thru email, but very slick.
