Win 6.5 lock screen in Win 6.1 ?

Is there a way to port win 6.5 lock screen to win 6.1 version ? It would be great to have it... no S2U2 or other program if it's kind.

Short answer: No. Long answer: Noooooooooooooo.

j/p. In all seriousness, it hasn't been ported yet. But I don't think it can/will ever be. It's because the architecture of the two OS's are too different, or at least in regards to the way it locks. However, some of these people can do some pretty amazing things, so I don't know. We have a thread about it here.

However, moonzbabysh compiled a great list of locking apps, found here. Thanks moonz. Might want to give one of those a try. Currently, I'm using pocketshield.
