I'm kinda sad that its not gonna be free anymore, but everyone needs to make a buck.

i think ageye waited too long to start charging, but i guess that happens when you tell everyone you plan to keep it free. He could've started charging a long time ago, meaning the core features have been implemented for a long time now. Releases in the past several months have pretty much been graphical and to rid the app of bugs associated with those releases. I'm running 1.51 and love it, i don't think i'll be upgrading/buying unless he comes up with an innovative new feature. Best of luck to him.

He removed support because people are after his source code? Sounds exciting, but i believe the Klaxon Alarm codes based off open source google android code. At least we have choices :P

Yeah, and he's also fighting hackers by intentionally releasing an update almost every day (2.0.5 now)... even if he comes out with something new that i like, i won't update until he stops doing that. Although it keeps the hackers from having the most current version hacked, it is annoying as hell to have to constantly upgrade almost every day. I hope he realizes it's more important to keep his customers happy instead of going out of his way to make things harder for people who'll crack his program anyway.

This program is fantastic. Best alarm clock ever for anything! Its a private enterprise and the programmer deserves to make a buck. We shouldn't be trying to "steal his sh**" anyways!

Ever since he removed ogg and aac support his playback capabilities have not been as stable.

I'm all for him making a buck, but he jumped the gun by announcing a registration/pay system(not yet implemented) this made people start snooping on the code, then time bombing the trials while at the same time getting rid of features, and back to releasing a version every other day. But the interface is prettied up
