WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Drama (off-topic) Edition

For all the smart-@$$@$!, dumb-@$$@$!, emotionally sensitive, and all others alike (the majority of us), I've created this thread to supplement the original "WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition"

I'm not about to waste a single post in the "WM 6.5 Kitchen QVGA and VGA Developer Edition" thread responding to all those who replied with tears in their eyes, "boo hooo, he doesn't appriciate us. He doesn't think we should try."

As generally happens when someone steps on a soap-box to talk down at others, or jumps on their high-horse so they can look down their nose, they lose perspective and say something stupid (yes, I said stupid, cry to mommy if you can't handle it, I don't care).

To those mentioned in the previous paragraph (you know who you are), I spend a lot of time myself, doing what I can to better the community in general. I'd say close to half that energy is wasted for various reasons, but still I'm here because I DO appriciate the hard work others do, which I benefit from. For THAT reason, I do my best to provide feedback whenever I find a solution or something new. THAT is how i show my appriciation. Because I'm willing to speak up for what I think would be helpful, DOES NOT make me ungreateful so get off of your soap-boxes and high-horses. Either you're helping or your not and the attitude I get for speaking out a reasoned opinion is not helpful.

In any case, to the folks speaking up and trying to paint me as a bad guy for trying to make it easier for those who would contribute in this thread, and for those of us who consume those findings, to do so. I don't believe I know you and that means you don't know what "I" do to contribute so you might think twice before contradicting yourself. I never said anything to deter folks from helping, what I said was "...you all need to chill out. Too many useless posts on here right now..."

It takes quite the leap of imagination to go from that to "everyone but the heavy lifters should stop trying to help" or "I don't appriciate anyone trying to help exept those who have suceeded in the past and should be reffered to as heavy lifters"

Now, can we all use our M.P.H. cream, use one last Kleenex, and move on with our lives?

Don't think this means that I'm all up in arms. I just find that speaking my mind is more often than not, a good idea. If my feelings were hurt, I'd say so. If I was pissed, I'd say so. I'm just frustrated that others get so bent out of shape so easily, then go defending those who may not have ever wanted/needed it, and try to paint me as a bad guy in the process.

Now as I said in the begining; I suggest we supplement the actual dev thread with this one and keep the drama and BS here (which was my entire point to begin with)!
=D>

P.S. Thanks to everyone who keeps the Bases, ROMs, OEMs, Tweaks, and tools coming. W/o you, I'd likely die from withdraws or starvation while I tried to do it all myself.

P.S.S. If this thread does nothing but allow me to vent via this one post, then I'm content, but I really hope that's not the end of it.

Wasn't the thread that you made about this yesterday moved to the off-topic forum, and then quickly deleted by the mods? How is this pointless thread different?

I don't know about it being moved, but it was deleted for "bypassing the language filter". This is the PG-13 version.

As for your 2nd question; if this thread was pointless you wouldn't have posted. This is the "drama" thread. You're adding drama, so your post is a contradiction. Anyhow, it's different because I'm not "cussing" in this version.

BTW: Thanks for all of your time, help, and involvement in the 6.5 dev thread.

Rain: I am bookmarking this thread and I will most likely be referrencing it in the actual Developers thread from time to time. The folks who whine and moan and groan will be seeing a simple reply from me...their quoted message and a link here LOL....see you in IRC once I have it installed on the new machines ](*,)
