Baby Monitor,
Would love to help , but you are suggesting connecting a 2.4 mhz radio to the internet with no ethernet port or wireless 802.11x available locally.

If this is for just around the house a wireless 802.11x camera with the software above.Would work best. As long as you have a PPC with 802.11x

I would suggest a Axis 210 or 207 www.axis.com or any IP camera for the situation of monitor the baby/sitter kind of thing., or from work, on a trip etc
With the software above...

Hope it helps !!

Re: Video IP Camera monitoring (APP)

I didn't think it would work. Was hoping there might be an app that is similar to the radio in the monitor. I already have the monitor and camerea, thought it would be neat to also keep an eye on him through my phone.

What is the cheapest, decent IP camerea I could get? Maybe I'll add a 2nd cam, if the price is right. Didn't see a price on the Axis cams. Do they have night vision as well?

Thanks...

From the looks of it, the baby monitor uses 900MHZ wireless signal. The program is for IP based video cameras, so unfortunately it would not work. Not to mention you would have to have a 900MHZ wireless receiver in your phone.

If you are looking for alternative cameras, you can check out:

Keep in mind that the PTZ support is only in Axis and Panasonic cameras (at this time, other cameras may be support in the future). The program should work with any camera that streams JPEG or MJPEG, you just have to enter the full URL to the image if it's not an Axis or Panasonic.
