SiruisWM5 is not dead but you do need to modify your own channel list.

Some of you have been having issues with your Sirius streaming options. SiriusWM5 still works but the channel listings are out of date. For example channel 29 is the Loft and it does not show up correctly in the channel lineup. It also doent stream when you select channel 29.

All you need to do is modify the channels.txt file in your ppc's SiriusWM5 directory. For example if I open the current version of my channels.txt file I see the current settings for channel 29.

29 | Punk
music
rockSIR
punk

It should read

29 | Loft
music
rockSIR
8207

The first thing to do is change the name to Loft. Next, you need to log into Sirius.com and stream the loft to your pc. Hover your mouse over the link to the Loft and look in your status bar. You will see something like this:

javascript:myPlayer.Channel('music', 'rockSIR', '8207','index.html', 'c787687c')

Modify the second entry for the loft to be music because that is the first parameter needed in the javascript command. Change the third field to rockSIR and the forth field to 8207.

SiriusWM5 will now stream the loft.

Any idea how to get the HowardStern channels working? I tried your method but it didn't seem to work.

tcbusch, thanks but it's not working for me. My channels list already looked like this. I tried replacing it anyway and I still get the data area error message. Oh well, looks like I'm stuck with tcpmp for now.
Anyone get a debug log to R-Capi? I said I was going to but I haven't had time.
