Hey guys im not sure if you all will help me with this or not but i am actually looking for something that can be done to turn a cell phone into a sms interceptor to intercept the surrounding phones txt messages.

i think thats illegal & if it was out then that would really suck

yeah i imagine that would be illegal but nevertheless it is an interesting concept.. makes you wonder, just how secure is sms?

Why would this even be necessary? What possible legitimate, non-psycho reason would anyone need for that?

well, i could think of a few reasons. one of which could be just proof of concept, a reason for wireless companies to secure their data. or to catch drug dealers? lol.. yeah, this isn't really possible i don't think, not unless you clone your phone to a specific esn or something.
