Capture Screen Utility 1.01

1 Attachment(s)
I know there are other free ones out there, but some don't have the option to save to main memory or memory card and don't auto number so they don't overwrite themselves if you don't move each one. This utility allows for those small things to be possible. Thought I'd share.

Capture Screen Utility 1.01 is a useful utility for capturing screenshots and screenshots with displayed menu. Features:
  • Support QVGA and VGA screens
  • Delay capture feature
  • Auto filename numbering for multiple captures
  • Save bitmaps to main memory or a storage card
  • Close the utility after capture

Yeah, there are other free ones. I like the tweaks to the file saving you did though! I'll be glad to give this one a try.

Question: is this assigned to a hardware key or just the onscreen?

Just the onscreen button on the WM6 version.

I have used this but it only can go up to a few seconds, so you can only capture the start of your application. What can I do that will keep taking screen shots until I am done and gone through all my application.

I have an HD2, and it moves slow screen to screen, would be nice to have a hardware button assigned. But then again another problem would be that this phone doesn thave many buttons. So anyway possible to make it a long press of a button an option? I am searching high and low for a good screen capture app.

WinMo has the ability to run processes in the background...just start your app, then switch to screen capture, setup delay, then switch back to your app... assuming you have a decent task manager, this should go pretty quickly.
