scottymomo, I have the latest (atleast i believe it is the latest, unless u've updated in the past few days) Sportscenter. Everything works fine, still love the program. There's one thing that i don't get... I have the Auto-Update time set to 8am-11pm and everyday around 6:45 I get this message *shown in the pic below* and even though it's sent to 8am to 11pm w/ refresh to every 2hrs. I still get that. Now, at around 8:15 i do a soft-reset and everything is working fine again. Any idea y?

Scotty, what you've done with these 2 apps is true greatness keep it up!

On the Mogul, if we disable the plug-in, the app says that it will use "the carrier line". Where exactly is that on the Mogul? I'm not seeing any stock reports if I disable the plug-in.

there is no carrier line on the mogul. "It's a Palm thing" ;)

I was afraid that might be the case. Thanks. That's too bad - I was hoping it would use the "Sprint PCS" line in the HTC Home Plugin. It would be nice if we could get stock listings without having to use up any additional screen real estate.

hmm, wonder what that line is in the plugin and if it can be manipulated in the registry..might have to check it out..

This is great Scotty, you working on any changes for sportscenter?

I've added English Premier League Soccer and working on verifying the team codes for the NHL and NBA so people can choose their specific teams. I've also got the ncaa scores in the main app displaying in rank order (1-25) but having a tough time with it on the today screen...may release as is for now..so expect something in a couple days...

Based on reading another threas the Sprint line in the htc plugin acts like the treo carrier line, so try that out and let me know if it works displaying the stocks!

Thanks coz the place was falling apart with out you.

I tried 1.6 and while the program worked on my Sprint Mogul, i could not receive a call while the program was running or the ringer was not working. I finally uninstalled the program.

You could try setting the autoupdate interval higher (like every 10-15 minutes) so that it's not using the data connection as often...the default is 1 minute which might explain the behavior you were seeing...

Great software. I was looking for something like this.

Has anyone reported an issue of the Interval Update not being able to be anything but 3 seconds? I change it to 10 seconds, but it won't keep it in there. Next time you go back it says 3 again.

Make sure that you're exiting out of the program all the way. Use the provided exit features in the program to close and save...you should then be good to go.

Problems with Pocket Stock Center
 

I have installed Pocket Stock Center onto my Dell Axim running WM5. There were no problems with the installation but the plug-in display does not seem to be alright. The plug-in's space is divided horizontally down the middle, and the bottom half is blank (it retains whatever was on the screen in that space beforehand), while whatever is on the top half is not clear (I can see only the upper half of the characters). Still, tapping on the upper half gives me a pop up but whe I choose something I always get a message that conection to the internet could not be detected, and to try again later, when in fact I am connected to the internet. Any suggestions?

Both the Carrier Line and Today Plugin support adjustable delay and refresh/update periods. This will display each quote for a set period of time (2-5 seconds for example), then move on to the next quote in a cycle, and update the quotes based on the update interval you specify (1 minute, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 1 hour, or 2 hours

-- Set AutoUpdate Start/End Times



LIMITATIONS

May not play nicely with other apps that update the carrier line, so I would recommend using the dedicated today plugin (plus it has added functionality)

This is a small bug. It's not currently reading your existing setting when you enter that option, it is always defaulting to 3 regardless of what you actually set. So if you in there, set it to 10 and don't go back, it will be set properly.

Will fix that tomorrow...
