Here is an interesting tidbit on an upcoming Playstation game emulator for WM...

The newest version (v1.0- about to be released), will include the following features....

Quote:
-New wonderful menus with a lot of features (you can see it in the 1st video), very esay mapping of a bluetooth gamepad, sound volume, xda volume, mem cards, etc
-full compatibility with pocket iso. More, roms made with pocket iso have a perfect sound!!!!!
-Full color videos!!!!!!
-Many games running at 60fps without frameskip!!!!!!!!!!!
-Frameskip is much more efficient, setting it on 7 allows to reach 40fps with the few slowest games, most of the time without lagging to much
-increased compatibility, for example Final Fantasy 9 fully working, 60fps with no frameskip, perfect sound, perfect colors!!!!

oh boy! this opens up the game library quite a bit! thanx for the info will def. be keeping my eye on this

holy sh*t when is this supposed to drop?
how well do you think it will work on the touch pro?
considering the omnia has much better game/video playback

i really want to try it out with tvout too! wouldnt that be bad @ss
playing ps1 games on yo tv with your phone!

a psx emulator? it sounds cool but i think the psp is a better place to look for that kinda stuff, it has the right controls and even a pretty slick lcd screen. plus it's cheap! like half of what some of these smartphones can cost without 2yr agreements.

my 2 cents anyway, but back on topic it's a pretty cool idea.

it seems kind of impractical to me. seeing as i have the diamond, i cant really see how I could possibly control the games. could work a little better on the TP tho. but even then i think it would be tricky.

bluetooth gamepad, but id rather not carry 1 of those

i hope the keys can be mapped correctly on the touch pro other emalators ive tried wouldnt map the keys right so i gave up...kinda sucks cuz that was 1 of the main reasons i wanted the pro:(
