hey is there anyone who uses it on wm5??? i have only empty place on my today screen, but i really want to have htc home plug-in... HELP ME

I'm using it on wm5. Everything works fine except the audio manager. However I do not use the weather tab. I use weather panel.

is it possible that it works only on htc devices? because i have hp ipaq rw6815 (xda atom) and when i try i have only empty place on today screen... i really want it!

Download the HTC Customiser and change to WMP as your default player. I never had problems with all the tabs on WM5. If we could get the Quick launch plugin to run alongside this we wouldnt need SPB Shell.

Unfortunately, the same install procedure is still necessary. Install cab and then copy the 4 files to \Windows. Make sure the Home plugin is deactivated when you do this or when you change the reg.

colonel Edit: This is a new cab that should install everything. Please try it out and let me know. It installed on an Apache running the stock Sprint rom. Thanks to Helmi for helping on this with the certs and signing and such.

is that link on the bottom a one-step installation or is there more to it that im not doing. I installed the cab onto my mogul and everything works on it, but my today screen is exactly how it was prior to the download except for that the plugin is running above it...i can see the big clock and all the buttons work, but it's not taking up my whole screen.....help!!!!

I can confirm this plugin works on WM5. Both the 3 and 6 tab versions are working.

3 Tab Version:
I have uploaded HTCHOMEWM5.rar under Apache/Misc Apps
(I can't attach the link, too new lol)

Simple Instructions:

1. Install HTC Home Plug Today Plugin.cab to device, not storage card.

2. Install SDK Test Certs.cab to device.

3. Copy contents of PPC Phone folder to \Windows and replace existing files.

4. Reboot

If you want to use US cities, copy HH_0409_WeatherCities.xml to \Windows directory!

I installed this on my wizard successfully. Thank you for bringing this to WM5.
I am running the latest official T-mobile US Rom.

One problem that I have is that I can not use the smart dial to launch anything that is in the HTC Home plugin. I can scroll through the menus fine, but when I click on the middle smart dial button, nothing happens.
If I click on it with my finger on the screen, then it works...

I can't figure this out. Everything else in the Today screen works. It's just this HTC Home plugin that seems to have this problem

i have tried this on my htc touch with jd's 6.1 rom on it and for some reason i cant get the sixth tab. i tried pretty much all of the different ones that they have on here, and read through all of the forums pertaining to it, but it doesnt help me. whenever i install the 6 tab version after the soft reset it does nothing, it installs a different htc home then what comes with this rom but for some reason it is still only 5 tabs. any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried to rename the HTC home files in \windows folder with the correct MUI code of your ROM?
