I'm not sure if I am visualizing what you are trying to do correctly, but it sounds like you could layer from selection the area you are trying to work on and then just edit that layer.

Would someone be willing to make a VGA cab installer that just installs the eng language layout and the Giannis black/green skin (or any one of his black/color skins)?

I would appreciate this as it would give faster install time, config screen load time, and less storage consumption. I understand this can be done manually, but if you flash a lot it saves a bit of time.

OK, guinea pig time for you drybones! Uninstall the old one and try this one out. I stripped out the other languages and skins.

Press hold TXT you get a list of phrases.. edit predtxt file to your liking.. weeha!!!

Watzone... when I use colorize it messes with the gray parts too.. so I did a magic wand and color overlay layer.. it works but there are too many missed pixels.. I'm just lazy for an easier way Iguess.. The press keys are OK its the keys that are two colors that are bleh....
One trick I use is to magic wand the parts I DON'T want to color and then pick "invert" from the "select" pull down menu.

You can also set custom colors in "colorify". "Colorize" is a little trickier to use but sometimes it's better.

If it makes you feel any better, I am having a bit of trouble with these new skins as well BUT I'm going to prevail!!:twisted:

Great, thanks a bunch Watzone. I have loaded this up and it works wonderfully. Install time and load time for the config screen are much faster and it takes up less than a third of the space.

You can just install this one and then drop your modified skin files in the directory... or just have them load from your Sashimi auto root folder after flashing.

Cool, I'm glad it worked.

Anyone else can just delete the unwanted skins and languages from the FingerKeyb/Skins folder after you've installed. Don't forget to delete the skins TXT files also.:mrgreen:
