New Live Search w/ VGA icons available
 

FYI I just updated to the new version of live search (click "Client update available" in the main menu) and it looks like they finally added support for vga resolution.

No "Client update available" on my Touch Pro. Live Search shows version 4.5.3129.0 (OEM).

He's right. I just got the update message too. After install, I show version 4.5.3129.0 too.
Also see the Copyright notice is 2009 now. Was 2008 before update.

search is still broken.
I tell it to give me driving directions, I enter a street address and a zip code, (this worked till like 3 versions ago) and it tells me " we couldn't find any results for "xx road at zip code near " whatever my starting location is......
I used to use this every day for driving directions on my job, not it is worthless.

Ah. I got my Touch Pro on March 31 and Live Search was the second app I installed (after ePocrates). I guess the VGA version was already being supplied as of that date.

i just saw this thread. clicked on client updates avail., it took me to opera but didnt do anything after that. is there something more i need to do?

also, even when I have my GPS connected, the locate me feature never works
