good free finance program?
 

is there a program that will keep a running total of my bank account, like I can enter my check in every week and it will be green and then if i spend money it will be red. sorry if this is not in the right forum. im looking for something like spb finance but dont want to chuck out the 25$ if i dont have to

Depends on how cheap is cheap. If cheap is cheap, then do an Excel spread sheet. If you are a HanDBase user (I am), then it is capable of being set up to do just that.

If you're looking for the red and green stuff, chances are you're not going to find anything free. Surprisingly enough, that alone adds a whole new level of difficulty for the development of the program, and I'd bet you probably won't find it.

I am, however, researching solutions to add this into Shp Finance, because I'd like it to do that as well.
