Weather in s2u2

Ok, so, I've tried doing a search, and couldn't seem to find the answer to this. I just decided to install s2u2 the other day, and really like it. Just wondering, how do I get the weather to show up on the lock screen? I have it currently set to use Manilla 3d (option 7), and it actually at one point, had the weather up last night. However, other than that one time, it hasn't had the weather on it. Also, could someone explain to me how to set up different clocks? Is there only two clocks that come with s2u2? How do I setup a flip clock for it?

Maybe I just missed a thread where someone talks about stuff like this, but, I think it would be helpful to have a sticky or something that just deals with how to do modifications in s2u2.

XDA-Developers may have some info, or look over here A_C's site (he's the S2 God)..http://www.ac-s2.com/

Yeah...I've been to the ac s2 site...there's not really much there. Links to the different programs, and links to the xda site. Problem is, like at XDA, there's 200+ pages in the thread on the newest version of s2u2. I don't have time to go through all that to MAYBE find the answer to what I'm looking for. I think it would be handy to have a sort of S2U2 Essentials thread.

This thread is completely devoted to S2U2 customization http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=28668. As far clocks, you need to find a clock you want and then overwrite the files in one of the clock folders in the gfx folder of S2U2.

Thanks, LW, but that thread you posted doesn't seem to be what I'm looking for. I'm trying to figure out how to get my weather to display on the s2u2 lock screen. That thread seems to be more about customizing s2u2 graphically.

In the S2u2 settings there are various source options for the weather display. In my experience, if you use a weather database editor to add a new city, it will not work with the new city.

It actually works with tf3d OFF. Give it a try. I'm not sure why it won't work with it on, though.

Is that the only option, to turn TouchFlo off? I really would rather not do that. Is there a different/better weather app that I should try using, instead of the stock weather app?

I think what he's saying is that in the S2U2 options you should switch the TF3D weather off.

Regarding the clocks, go to the ac-s2 page / S2U2 and then scroll down to the bottom where you'll see "Download clock the clock pack", right next to it, you'll see a Readme.txt. Give that a read, it's pretty simple.

I've been able to do everything on S2U2 from his website because I don't like the huge threads he has. So look in there.

No, AFAIK the only way to get weather on the s2u2 screen if you used the editor is to turn TF3D off, I don't know why it hasn't been fixed yet....

If someone knows different please speak up:)
