App name remains in remove software list after uninstall
 

Can anyone tell me how to remove entries to my uninstall list? I tried to uninstall an arcsoft install, but it left the name in my uninstall list. Everything else is removed (files and reg entries) but I find no trace of it other than this item in the list.

reinstall the same cab 'over' the existing install... then cancel when it asks if you to confirm...

Does this trick work with realplayer app cause its still in my remove program :(
