PPCgeeks software warehouse?

I posted this in the software forum since it ties in directly with that subject. I was thinking about hosting a website that did nothing but display the different software versions and types that we disscus in these forums and XDA. My idea was to have a ratings profile good, fair, bad...based on user imput. Any programs it didnt work well with ect... Also screen shots of each app info about the creator...bla bla bla. I was thinking of having all the verisons displayed for download as well even outdated verisons, just because some people like different verisons or maybe it worked better before the upgrade and soforth. Anyway its just an idea give me your feedback...thanks. Its a lot more detailed than what i have written here but mainly data only...no real forums or anything.

I think this would be very useful. You would probably need some help to keep up though. Cool idea. Maybe keep the developers credit\donate tab by each app.

Yeah if i was going ahead with it help would be needed to maintain it. I figured i would also stick to mainly software discussed on PPC and XDA mainly. Reason being there maybe two million mp3 apps and only 10 really worth a crap. Im still working out the logistics but feel free to give input or tell me you think its the stupidest thing you have ever hard of.

I wouldn't call it a "warehouse" since that sounds like you'd be selling the software. ;)

But I think it's a great idea if it can stay current.

I've got my own server, so if you need any free hosting for it let me know and I'd be happy to help.
