most definitely the zImage is wrong. the autobuild GSM images do this, and fail on the CDMA devices. try replacing the zImage, rootfs again? i always forget to rename the zImage and then try to boot... oops

It had to do with renaming the zImage, thanks ya'll. I fiqured it out by myself late last night, but then ran into another problem, the SD card wouldn't load. The only way to fix it was to format the SD card with the SD Format 2.0... forgot exactly what it's name was. I tried every other way to format the card, and this was the only way to do it, found the solution on the Android forums I think

Now it's working, but it's very buggy. Is it normal to be that buggy? I understand that this is still in development, and I really appriciate all the work ya'll put in! I'm new so I want yall to understand I'm not expecting a miracle or a full port or anything. THanks!

It is unusably buggy, no question. But it's getting better all the time. Sort of. Glad you got it working.

has anyone tried any of these "daily" builds? http://glemsom.anapnea.net/android/ The date on the newest is newer than the one here, I know this doesn't always mean better, but I wonder if anyone has had any success using these files?

The autobuilds do not work. I've made some effort to sync up the cdma changes so they will in the future, but I have not been able to figure out all the problem areas.

Hmm my CDMA Data connection, which had been more on than off... almost flawless really... has been more off than on recently. However, I noticed that any time I'm receiving a phone call or sending a phone call, my data connection works without a problem basically as long as it's ringing... Seems to me like the phone's just having trouble initiating a data tunnel... <shrugs> I dunno, thought you guys might find this interesting.

is there a way to get the CDMA data working and I'm just missing it? When I first started I had a connection in Android, downloaded a few apps. Now, nothing. It seems no matter what I try I can't connect anymore in Android. Data still works in WM, wifi too. Just can't seem to have it carry over.

I'm sure this is a newbie question and I'm just missing something obvious.

cool it does work. i can call myself but can't hear anything. couldn't sign into google. i can't wait until this becomes a working model that is useable!

issues i saw:
phone did not want to stay lit. once the screen went black it was difficult to get back to the main screen. also the battery said it was at 5% but once i got back into winmo it was pretty much full.
