Another TV application for our PDA ...
When you double click on a TV/Show Icon its stream is launched in the selected player (CorePlayer, Windows MediaPlayer or TCPMP).

Since version 3.xx, MORE THAN 500 CHANNELS Links are provided from many countries

Dynamic address (according date) streams are managable ...

I developped this small app because my children was not enjoying me watching the TV News at 8pm every day ...
Now I can watch the News in my bed before sleeping
I named it WebTV ...

Feel free to share any new TV stream (working) that you can find.

- Removed iExplorer from the Player list (was there only for test purposes and now useless)
- Sometimes, when pressing Exit menu in Config. Dialog, "Save Modif" question was not displayed.
- Compatibility for 320x320 pixels screen. (To confirm from users ...)
- Favorites channels file "WebTVList.xml" is not part of install kit anymore. The favorites will be preserved after software reinstallation or update
- Added Few channels and many Channels Icons ...(thanks to xda community)

very nice, im using stock tp running techs tcpmp on steroids and this app. runs very well. no issues on 5 regular channels or both movie channels. wmp had some errors on the movies though. tcpmp works better imo.

Channel list doesn't look to be over 500 lol. Am I missing something? Is there a seperate xml file i have to bring in to get all the channels?

Go to folder "WebTV" on your phone and "Channel Pack" folder inside that. Copy the desired country's xml file and paste it to "WebTV" folder (where you'll see WebTVList(example).xml). Now open WebTV app and go to setup then click channel button. On top you will see a drop down menu. Now you should see your added list of channel for that country. Now you can add those channels to desired tab. I hope that explains it.

been playing around with this. If you go into Webtv>setup>channels>select the drop down next the file button in the upper right corner. This brings up a list of countries and I think you can select channels there and add them to lower list. hit edit next the the specific folder you want to add the channels to, then select add. sorry for the crappy instructions..

way better than diamond tv imo. i sent op of diamond tv 100 channels and still had to pay for key and this is still better. theres also a readme txt thats got lots of info.

Hmm.. that means you don't have to copy xml files to main folder.

well I added all the channels. Nothing too impressive lol. I wonder if the fox channels will ever play simpsons and seinfeld.

that would be awesome. anyone able to play foxnews channel yet? I keep getting mms protocal errors. I selected mms in tcpmp but it still does this. Plus once I get this error, it wont let me play any other channel giving the same error message. soft

This looks like a winner on my stock TP w/Tech's supercharged TCPMP.
The moreTV choices, the better.

Any idea how to change default player (WMPlayer)? I followed readme and changed the path to Path="\Program Files\TCPMP\Player.exe" in my WebTVSettings.xml file, since TCPMP is cooked in my ROM. When I tried to go to setup and choose player from drop down menu, it still shows windows media player.

In the setup tab i saw a dropdown combo box. I selected coreplayer and it worked for coreplayer.

I'm doing the same thing but the problem is I'm not able to see any other player than Windows Media Player. I have also did soft reset after changing the WebTVSettings.xml file.

This app. is nice and it does work for me BUT I would prefer to use TCPMP and it doesn't work for me that way. Only WMP works. =/ When trying to use TCPMP I get errors saying either "MMS protocol not supported" and "RTSP protocol not supported". Any ideas? TIA!

yes. I selected tcpmp and tried through file association to fix the mms thing but it didn't work.

It's worlking perfect on Omnia.
TIP: If your Core Player / TCPMP are installed on your Storage card you have to edit the WebTV configuration file (in WebTV instalation directory) and add "\My Storage" to the program PATH in order to be able to use this players.

good app. Have this and diamondtv and its a close one between the two. Only diff i find is the adult channels on the diamond but then again most of then don't work anyway. Its nice to choose between them.

is it normal that some channels remain black and don't connect but if i try again later on it works?
