Using Resco or Total Commander as Explorer Replacement???

I have used the standard WM file explorer, Total Commander and Resco Explorer. The WM File Explorer is obviously garbage. TC and Resco both have their ups and downs and I was hoping someone could help me figure out which one I should be using.

Resco seems to hid the extension of some files which is incredibly annoying. I love the layout of Resco, and it seems like a fluffier product than TC, and its ability to do OBEX transfers is great.

Total Commander can not launch a CAB file from within a Zip file. Incredibly annoying. Is there any way to make TC launch the built in WM zip utility when clicking on a zip file? Is there a version of TC that has OBEX sendfile via BlueTooth support?

Right now, I am using both tools. If I could just get Resco to be the default explorer, I think I'd be happy. Right now, when launching a zip file that I download via Pocket IE, it automatically launches TC.

Does anyone have any registry settings that will fix any of these issues?

Thanks,
nick

EDIT: to fix topic

I use resco...you can view hidden file by....menu...Options...General...click Browser tab....unclick all the options.

i prefer resco.

total commander just visually takes up too much space, its great for being free though.

Love Resco... explore the options, you can hide/unhide extensions, files, etc.
