Hi,

First, the look is very important for me. Second, it must be very easy to custom the layout. Third, I like pop-up keys with extra-shortcuts. So, that's why I am still under PCM Keyboard v0.14 :

TouchPal for me. I've been using it since they released the first version. I'm hoping to beta test the new V4 that is soon to come out.

Yup, same here. I've gotten used to it too. Waiting for the new one. It's the most feature rich keyboard out there. You can also hide your passwords in there. Too good!

I'd suggest uninstalling TouchPal (setting> remove programs), then reinstalling it through the cab. I'm not sure where you got the cab from but you might want to redownload it from their site, cootek.com. Also, when you are asked, select VGA resolution (if you are using a diamond, which the phone listed as your pocket pc on your profile).

If this still does not work, I'd suggest contacting cootek themselves. Since this is a paid app (although there is a free trial), they would be the most knowledgeable and most helpful with specific problems since they'd like for you to eventually purchase their software.

Hope that helps and hope you get it fixed.

Re: HUGE Keyboard compilation thread (now 16 total): which do you use?

Downloaded the SIPchange.CAB from here, found it in other posts too, and the latest
PocketCM Keyboard from its site.

Seen the directions, tried them all, that I found.

PCM is under options, but it's for voice recording,
not the keyboard:

Settings > Personal > Input

select Keyboard from dropdown and the only options tab is at the
bottom 'options' tab and thats for voice recordings.

Select PCM, nothing.
Tried combination of installing, reinstalling, soft resetting etc.

Selected form the arrow by the keyboard icon in apps.

Tried holding down right enter button.

So was attempted on a Sprint HTC 6800 Mogul Titan with SPB Mobile Shell 3.

What silliness I'm a doing wrong or what have I missed or flew over?

Thanks for the help.

Ok, used the link from here to download v 23 instead of using the
latest dev build and I can select PCM now in Keyboard and
the right option arrow.

Have soft reset a couple of times, but still have to select.
Perhaps I run the SIP cab again.

Thanks.

I've never had any problems with SIPChange (knock on wood), but you may want to give this a go instead: nueSIPDefault. Just another solution to the same problem, but hopefully this'll work for you. Good luck.

haha, I feel so out of touch with everything. I forgot to pause the world before I left, and it's now taking me forever to catch up on all my blogs, apps, and the ppc world in general.

Is there a cab for the latest EZInput 2.1.19162213.00 found on Juicy 8 yet?
