anyone wanna help me with phonealarm real quick?
 

I've tried every possible way I could to get custom sms tones to work...im probably omitting some easy *** solution, but could someone walk me thru it?

make a short ,wav music file and drop it into \windows, then change it in start>settings>sounds and notifications

no lol....I know THAT much...im talkin about setting custom sms tones for specific people using the program PhoneAlarm..

well why does it have an option for custom email/sms tones in the program?

Because it allows you to use music formats that don't work as standard tones. You need a problem like Ringo to do what you want.

it is per profile, not per user. You can't assign specific tones to different contacts with phone alarm. I haven't checked the newer versions of the software, but version 2.03 didn't have that ability

You can set custom SMS ringtones in pA. In Settings, go to the Extras tab and select Custom Email/SMS from the drop down menu. Click on Groups, select Options, then New Group. Name the "group", enter the number in the Contains field and select your sound. You can enter a bunch of numbers in the group or just one number.
