Windows Mobile Post Test?

Hey Guys. So i took my phone in to the sprint store today to try and get a new phone, because the battery life is atrocious. So I left it there and they determined that a 3rd party program i had downloaded was making it fail the "post test" that they run in the store to test the phone. So my question is...Does anyone know where you can get this software that they use, or is there anything comparable? Thanks in advance.

Its not software, we use a box that simulates cell phone towers and runs the post test, not exactly sure how it works, but im willing to bet you dont want to spend the money for one of them.

Couldnt you hard reset and then let them run the test?

If your getting a new phone out of the deal, that shouldn't matter, should it?

That's why when I take a phone into repair I never have 3rd party programs installed on it, Sprint likes to blame all problems on 3rd party software.

Well who of all the carriers doesn't? None of them want to have to fork out new phones for people's own screwups. Not that this is necessarily a screwup on this guy's part, I doubt it is, but perhaps it's something that came preinstalled, who knows, I'd try a hard reset.
