Sorry all, this is not possible for a number of reasons. The first, and most important of all, is that the sound API has no interface with the phone's radio stack. It just doesn't. The only thing that WinMo can control on that behalf is activating and deactivating the radio's audio, and changing its volume. Other than that, phone audio and system audio are completely separate.

The second problem is the real deal killer. When your call goes on "hold," it's done on Sprint's backend. This has absolutely nothing to do with your phone. Your phone still only has one radio connection to the tower; Sprint's backend actually controls which call you're connected to. Because of this, it's physically impossible to play hold music to the other call, since your phone isn't actually connected to it at the time.
