if you notice there is a diffrent start menu on the new touch pro would there be anyway of getting that on my touch diamond

its running wm6.5 so i would say soon enough we will have a copy of 6.5 here to update our phones to, there are already some 6.5 kitchens and roms available but i dont know if any of them have the new start menu because i havent tried any

I don't think it's running 6.5 it will run 6.1 to start and will be upgradable to 6.5. 6.5 release isn't until 4th qtr 2009.

The Touch Pro has been out longer in Europe than in the States. :-P

yea it is not going to run 6.5 at first it is going to run 6.1 then get upgraded and the 6.5 start menu is diffrent from the menu of the new touch pro

your right i never watched that video posted here i watched a different one showing winmo 6.5 running on the diamond 2 and confused the 2 my bad

yes, it does although for me the biggest advantage is the bigger screen (I've always wanted that)

TF3D doesn't look much different than the compressed TF3D HD I'm running right now.

The hardware KB looks like it's vastly improved. I never use the hardware KB as I always use TouchPal in T9+ & I think the buttons are much to small & stiff in the hardware one (the new one seems to have addressed that).

Who knows if it will ever actually be available in the states??

I would have bought a Touch HD immediately at almost any price if I could have gotten one that was compatible with Verizon service... (heck, I would still buy it today)

if there is know way of getting that new start menu then is there some cab. files that i could get that would make my start menu similar to that one or the new one on 6.5
