first and foremost, i'm just asking for names.... not asking for the program itself. so please don't mistake it for that and delete this thread.
now...
2 programs...

first its a blue tooth program that basically reads your text messages to your headset, and you can hear your ringtone in your bt headset.

colonel had it in his rom... but i can't remember what its called.

and 2...

its like a lowjack for your cell. i saw it on a diamond once.

basically if your phone gets stolen, you can send a txt messages to it w/ a 30 character code... w/ other codes (like /w for wipe clean)... or a code for lock and track... and that will give you gps coordinates via longitude and latitude to which every 5 mins. so u know where it is and or which way its headed.

just want to make sure that i know where my phone is at all times since i put so much into the memory card. i can atleast get that back. and ill just claim the phone stolen and get a new one.

any ways... whats these 2 programs called.

I've used remote tracker and its one of the better ones (and free). There are other ones out there as well.

One of the newer players is our very own No2chem with his nueGPSSecurity. He is up to version 1.2 (linked below). He should have version 1.3 out any day now.

I use smartphone tracker for security. Can't wipe clean, but runs in the background so your thief is none the wiser. I'm a big fan of catching people red handed.

Cybertron does it for sure. It is the one that give you the onscreen menu of possible commands when you hit the button.
