Does TCPMP require WMP to work properly??
 

i cooked a rom without WMP because i just wanted tcpmp to be the only media player.. but after installing tcpmp it gives two errors when i try to play any file type. Something about its a non wm9 sound and video type..

So is there a fix to this or does it really rely on wmp to play properly?

I had a problem with mine because the codecs are named different in WM6 which I have a cooked ATT rom for my 8525 let us know if those codecs fix it, BTW I'm streaming using a PLS file.
