EASY SMS will provide you with a comfortable interface to send and receive SMS messages in all circumstances.
Texting with the standard Windows Mobile SMS interface is not always very convenient. The text is very small and hard to read in many cases. Replying or sending a new text message by using the stylus and the tiny onscreen keyboard can be a real pain and is just impossible in situations where you don't have both hands free. If you have been carrying around a Windows Mobile device for a while, this will definitely sound familiar to you.
Now, with EASY SMS, texting no longer needs to be such pain. EASY SMS will give you a new interface for texting, the way it should have been implemented in the first place. This is something that they really need to work on is TF3D integration! The app looks great and it would also be awesome if they can add secret contacts list or something, so if someone sends a text that you want to hide of that person, you should be able to input a password and see those hidden little gems.

Ok, I loaded this on to my 700wx running WM5 and it pretty much worked as advertised. Nice big fonts...easy buttons that can be pushed with fingers (even on my 240x240 screen). Recognized my contacts list.

Not too friendly for long texts...I like the skinning of it though...the blue and black are easy on the eyes. No emoticons. Can edit the "my text" list.

However, incoming texts were opened in my default application (not this new one).

Not a bad little app. I'll play around with it a bit more.

downloaded the 0.2.4.1 version. It didn't adjust well to the VGA resolution and the buttons appeard tiny. Did you guys get something different?

Had that checked and it was still acting up....however....a soft reset fixed everything.
