Yeah I was really hoping this would be mainstream by now. Am I missing something? Is there a release floating around that isn't slow as dog poo? (I know it's slow for debug purposes)

Maybe they found more bugs than they thought? This really has potential and i'm looking forward to using it.

Hmm...I've been trying to find anything on Fennec for the last 2 months, but couldn't remember the name of it to save my life...lol...Haven't heard anything about it for about as long. Maybe something new soon?

According to the dev site, they had some serious bugs to work out of it. I think they over-anticipated the speed of release.

Released what this early? It's open source, publicly available, and in alpha for our phone. They didn't "release" anything, they made their nightly builds and alphas available like they do with all of their software. Don't consider it "released" until a final version, and don't consider it usable until it hits beta.

What i am saying they shouldnt have released the alpha so early having us wait for new updates because the alpha doesn't work at all now it been a couple of months and still no update which is why i said it was too early

An "alpha" doesn't even have to be a working version of the program. Alpha means it's entirely incomplete and isn't even ready to be tested. They just keep it available for us to see the progress, not to say how much their "release" sucks. It's not a release.
