thanks joojoo

i also noticed that 23007 has the same problem with gwes.exe that resullts in freezing with internet explorer specially when the phone goes to sleep..when it wakes up again its frozen

i fixed that by using gwes.exe from older built & as mentioned before i use also compime.dll to fix the typing problem too

thanks for your files & time

I went ahead and made a SYS_23007_Common with compime.dll from 21731 and gwes.exe from 23001. The gwes.exe thing? Yeah, that looks like permanent changes that Microsoft is making to it. At some point, replacing it with an older version may not work. But for now, here ya go. My speculation on it is that MS is going to allow for apps to change the icon of a highlighted item, but since none do that currenty, you get whatever is cached in RAM there.

Compime.dll? Yeah, who knows. I admittedly just forgot to change it.:drunken:

Anywho, here is the direct link to the updated common for anyone who didn't manually fix. Just rename to use. I also updated my original post as well.

thanks for this - but I can't get the ROM to boot using the xip - I have a Nike and generally port the Kaiser one over to it, but no boot :(

Anything someone may be able to suggest that I am doing wrong? Never had an issue porting it before.

Thanks

DT

Try porting with the Titan XIP.

Yeah, I just cooked one up for the hell of it. It looks pretty much like 21925....useless cuz of all the weird GUI crap. I did notice that the start menu doesn't fade out the background image though.

I'm cooking up another 23007 now.

Im having issues with TF3d restarting and not loading on the 23007 sys. Anyone know what may be causing this. No problems in 23004. Most likely something in the sys I am using. I am also using Calkulin's kitchen.

If anyone has any insights on this, please let me know.

Thanks,

Mikee

Give this attached herman xip a whirl. FYI, the XIP version is 21926, but I fixed it to say 21928 for the hell of it.Attachment 37765

Also, here's a mirror for Da_G's kitchen files in case rapidshare is giving anyone crap. (It usually does, it always seems to suck.)

Dunno, didn't run it that long. But I have mine getting put in via a provxml so I never need to set it anyhow.
