I am trying to get Anryl's QVGA base working in PPCKitchen. There is not DSM for FWUPDATE. I tried editing the one from 21202 SYS, removing all the files but the packageinfoapi.dll module, but I get a "The given key was not present in the dictionary".

Attempting to create a DSM with the certificate and the packageinfoapi.dll module only results in "Invalid Manifest Version. Expected: 116 Found: 0"

Anyone got a good guide on how to build it right?

Tried BOTH, but with no guide, I was just kinda wingin it. O well, Dan to the rescue already! Downloading your SYS right now. You are the man.:headbang:

Turns out the dictionary issues was because I did NOT refresh my build in PPCK. Once refreshed, my DSM's worked fine. Duhh....thanks for the kitchen anyhow Dan, I'll keep it on reserve in case I don't get the other one I've already put some work into cooking.

Actually, fixing timebomb IS as easy as search/replace :)

search shell32/s000 for 02EB7D3E

string shows up twice in timebombed shell32, replace 7D with BB in both instances

fixed :)

note also that it is never a good idea to use .dll's from another build.. great way to cause instabilities :) swapping out shell32 isn't recommended.

I was actually looking for this in 21210 (like in 21202):

1) E5C94502EB7D becomes E5C94502EBBB
2) 8DE2684502EB7D becomes 8DE2684502EBBB

I guess I should have looked for the 2nd half of those strings instead (2EB7D --> 2EBBB).

that means the 21510 is just hexed 21210 :headbang: cause the shell i posted is the same just fixed timebomb

21510 is a hexed 21202 actually, but shell32 code may not have changed between that and 21210
