Nice App to convert youtube videos!!
 

So I've been looking for a way to get Youtube videos onto my phone so that they can be played or emailed from my phone. Well I've known about this site for several months but just never thought to try to use it to do this. Well you can visit this link. http://vixy.net/ You will need to have the url from the video on youtube that you want to convert. The site allows you to convert files to AVI, MOV,MP4, 3GP(for mobile devices) or just MP3 only(if you just want the audio and not the video) Now the site can be used to convert then download the video then save to your desktop and thru active sync move it to your device a viola it plays with windows media player! I know I know you can already play youtube videos! Well now you can convert them save them and then have them on your storage card to pull up anytime you feel like it without having to worry about download times or spending time searching for something. You can also got to that link from your mobile device and do the same stuff so you can convert videos on the go!! But it wont work with PIE or Opera, it does however work with skyfire! So if you do not already have skyfire, go get it and start saving your favorite youtube videos to your phone!! Check it out.

I personally convert videos on my pc, then move them into my storage card, but this looks interesting i'll check it out...

kind of a pain on a mobile phone ? i use either youtubeplay you can save thevideo to your card (flv format) or extract the mp3. you can also usw w.v.d where you can save it to the card. wvd has other websites other than youtube. only problem is if you send it to someone they have to have a player that supports flv. extentions
