It was done about 2 minutes after I found this... :)
How silly of me not sharing...

OEM_QuickMenu_2_8_410_w6

Made a few preference changes for myself and location of install. Set it up and export [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\AlenSoft\QuickMenu]. Replace those contents within the RGU and your set!

I'm using an HTC Touch Pro WM6.1, and the .cab installer didn't work for me, the menu was miniaturized and unable to use but 2.7 worked impeccably so I tried the .zip files and they work just fine. So anyone using .cab that cant get it to work, revert to using the .zip it should work just fine that way.

The .cab install if I remember right doesn't place....well you have to kick-startit so it creates a \windows\startup\quickmenu.lnk entry. Navigate to \program files\ta\quickmenu??? and double click quickmenu.exe. It should now work and now there is that entry that starts it up.

How do I get the battery icon and such in the top right corner instead of the middle? 2.7 used to be able to do that fine.

The OEM package also fails to init Quickmenu at startup. Seems to need...
Directory("\Windows\Startup\"):-File("QuickMenu.lnk","\Windows\QuickMenu.lnk")
...added to initflashfiles.txt.

Also am I missing something regarding why it's necessary to create copies of all the files via initflashfiles.txt (i.e. 000-QMenuBtn.dll -> QMenuBtn.dll, etc.)

i've got a start.exe running and will not close, !! help!! i noticed it after installing quickmenu

start.exe is TF3D if Iam not mistaken.
Go to quickmenu\option..... Exclude and choose both not (not show and not to close)

Updated OEM OEM_QuickMenu_2_8_410_w6 to include the \windows\startup entry. And the 000- prefix is to avoid duplicate entries, it's how I do most of my oems....

1。增加WiFi的支持(再次感谢yonsm找到的好办法),414版增加更多WiFi设备的检测
2。电量图标采用绿、黄、红三种填充色
3。针对非中文语言环境，可自定义“设置”菜单项的名称
4。由于“背景灯”设置机型差异比较大，已去掉
5。可设定菜单项的间隔，以调整菜单项的大小
6。414版修正与“最近程序”相关的几处BUG
