My Mobiler Freeware (Remote Control Display Alternative)
3 Attachment(s)
I just found new software called My Mobiler http://www.mymobiler.com. This software enables you to view your mobile screen on your desktop and control your WM2003, WM5 or WM6 device using your desktop keyboard & mouse. It does require an ActiveSync connection. It functions like Microsoft's Remote Control Display software, but it also enables you to capture screen shots of your mobile and use the 10-key number pad of your keyboard for number input. It also enables you to drag & drop files from your computer to your PPC; it works, but it doesn't seem to let you select the PPC file location (it goes to the My Documents location of the device and apparently no way to drag & drop a file directly to a storage card for example).
I've only used this a short while on my PPC-6700, but it seems to work well. The only strange thing about installing the application is the application installed to my desktop. I just moved the MyMobiler file that was installed on my desktop to where my other Program Files are stored. I then created a shortcut on my desktop to easily access the program. Enjoy! |
thanks ...^U^

My Mobiler
Fantastic app!
Confirmed: works with Windows Vista. Confirmed: plays videos on PC screen (audio stays on PPC). One option I couldn't find was a FRAME RATE ADJUSTMENT setting. Microsoft's Remote Control Display has that feature. All-in-all... a great application. I've already removed M$'s remote app, and now using MyMobiler ~THNX!~ :P |
I wish there was something that worked with macs
