I've been looking for a simple easy-to-use business mileage tracking software - preferably freeware.

thanks but I think that's a fuel, mpg type tracker - I'm looking for a very basic business miles driven tracker.

I only need to enter the total miles (don't really need odometer start and stop); destination; category and downloadable/printable.

Sorry, I don't. I use one created by my HR department, which might work for you but I can't distribute it.
I would think it would be best if you created your own as you know what exactly you need tracked, what and how much you'll be reimbursed (if anything), ect.

Would something like this work? If you are not wanting to customize it yourself, just let me know what changes you want made and I can modify it real quick.

I use AutoKeeper. It is not free but it keeps track of mileage and expenses.

Coincidentally, I was looking for a file on my phone and ran across another mileage log template for excel. I suppose this is one that is in office by default, similar to what they do in the desktop version. It never occurred to me to look in there for one.
