UPDATE
I just made a cab for QVGA. Try and report if the font is working

I can't seem to get this to install on my new Palm Treo Pro (320X320). I downloaded miniv8small.cab (QVGA version) but it hangs about 1/3 the way through the install screen. Any ideas? I'd love to get this running as it was my browser of choice on my Touch Pro.

Same here. Actually I think I had that problem on my 800w as well. Stuck using 4.1 still :(

No you're not ;)

Took me much searching and many cab installs to find one that works but this one installs and runs great on my Treo Pro, enjoy!

I've checked and unchecked the Mobile View box many times in settings but it apparently has no effect.

Is there a way to have it render desktop view on every site?

Thank you.

Same problem here. I like it but would like it more if desktop view.

Forgive the noobness, but what is the difference between Mini and the Opera we get by default?

For some reason, Opera Mini locks up my Mogul. I have the most recent version. It doesn't do it all the time. Just after a while of clicking around, it just locks up. Happens on gmail, and this forum.

Works great on my flashed htc touch Pro on Metro PCS...

To make opera mini readable:
tools/settins/font size=extra large

VGA, i recommend,
Image quality= High

Thanks to the person who provided this for us!

Ive used opera mini for years, and never knew i could get to extra settings by typing opera:config in the address bar. i knew that worked for opera mobile, but never tried it on mini. You know that feature with mini where if you click a long string of numbers, itll ask you if you wanna dial that number? in opera:config, that can be turned off :) sorry if everyone else already knew this, but i didnt :)

amazing! same here. Used it for years and never knew this but thanks for letting me know. I hate that number thang!! drives me nuts. You know another thing I noticed recently is the older version of jbed (20081203.2.1) has smoother fonts and large display. Also in NRG's roms if you set up mini, it creates a shortcut for you to the programs menu (not sure if this is the case with any 6.5 rom with this particular jbed installed) I am starting to use it again because I like the display better. thanks again man for the tip!

THANKS. I lost this version and just got a treo pro. All the other versions drag, this one is nice and fast.
