Sprint Touch Pro- universal remote?
 

I know that there is software out there to turn PPC's into universal television remote controls.

But how have they worked for anyone who has tried them?

I don't want to waste my money on anything that doesn't work.

Is there any free software for this? I haven't found any as of yet.

You need an IR port on the PPC to use it as a remote. I know the HTC Diamond and HTC Touch Pro don't have IR ports. The Treo 800w and the Mogul have IR ports. Hope this helps!
