Just stumbled on this today... pretty surprised there's been no mention of it (i searched)...

FYI - This is the VGA version for the Diamond and Touch Pro...

New Version 4.5 is now available for immediate download and upgrade!

Here is the cab for the mogul. On their site it is listed for the ppc6800 not the xv6800 but I would assume that they are the same, just have listing for both phones. It seems there are some bugs with this version on WinMo phones right now. Some of the maps will not show up at all. Their forum shows a fix: If you don't receive maps, please go to: Settings -> System -> Regional settings -> Numbers, there you will need to change the decimal sign from comma to point.
I can't find a way to make this work. They are already working on another version that has this fixed but arent releasing it yet. This will be a great app once they expand the maps. It does not even recognize my street address and I live in one of the cities it supports.

I had amAze in my Titan & it worked super.

I just installed the VGA version in my TouchPro & it can't find my GPS even though it works fine in Garmin XT, Google Maps etc.

I cannot find any settings in the program anywhere that relate to the GPS, WTF am I missing here??

i gota ask, is gos on? i use gps tool app. and forget mines off sometimes. post back, ill dl the app. to make sure the problem isnt on there end.

works fine for me and connects on it's own... i do know that in older versions you had to piggyback gps connection off of livesearch or google maps before running amaze... but i havent had to do that on the version on my diamond...

Yesterday, I fired up the HTC GPS viewer & got a 10 satellite lock & the GPS worked just fine in Google Maps.

I exited GM & immediately started amAze & it told me "no GPS found, make sure it's turned on"

Hmmm...mystery. It works fine on my TP. I did run Google Maps beforehand but I doubt that made any difference.

I don't see much point in that, so I just uninstalled it.

I don't really care, it's not that great a program anyway IMHO -it was just another toy to play with.

My GPS works perfectly in GarminXT/CoPilot Live 7/Google Navigator/Google Maps & Live Search + I have a double DIN Eclipse NAV unit built into my truck so I think I can live without amAze..... ;-)

Anyone having problems with the Touch Pro version of amaze? The search function doesn't have the US in it and it crashes sometimes.

crashes sometimes... how about everytime on the TP
When it is working it's actually quite nice but I have yet to go a trip without it unexpectedly quitting on me. But then again I've only tested it out 3 times so far. I think it has to do with it losing the data connection sometimes.

I can't get it to find my GPS on my VZW TP.

I added to a post in the forums and the admin replied with something that didn't make sense, then disappeared on me.

It won't find the GPS in my Sprint TP either (although it worked fine in my old Titan)

Just a guess based on my experience. For some reason, my VZW TP has the "Windows Default" for the GPS port as com0. With other GPS apps, I always have to manually change it to use (look for) com4. If amAze is using the Windows Default, and doesn't offer a way to manually change it, that might be the problem.
