The new one is 0.85.0.8184

Do you know what the differences are between the two releases? And where did you get this tid bit of info? I read the official Skyfire Blog, but it seemed to have no mention of an update...

go to http://get.skyfire.com/
and click on install through pc and it'll give you the download dialog for version 8184...

hmm as far as changes... could we double tap to zoom in (like opera) on the previous version? i didnt really use that version too much, but noticed it on this one... every time u double tap it zooms in more.. and then u just click the "zoom -" button on the bottom left to zoom out back to preview mode. Like i said, not sure if it was in the last version, but it definitely makes skyfire better...

still has that zoom box if u tap once.

It's cool that Skyfire released an update, but I do not personally use it... It is awesome that he posted this though... I thank him for contributing to the site then...

i also saw this update i believe thursday but i hardly ever use skyfire since i got my pro so i havent even got around to testing the new release yet....i will now tho lol...

it seems a little faster to me. also i had a no sound issue with the other version till i reinstalled it. no sound issues so far. thanx tmz
